As lingual practitioners are well aware, there is zero tolerance for torque in any lingual straight wire system. Pre-made lingual mushroom arch-forms are available but not recommended, as the offset needs to be specific to your patient. We recommend that you use a lingual arch form without an offset, eliminating the need to buy many different sizes and needing to adjust premade offsets to fit your patient. Less forming, in turn lessens the chance of torquing the wire, as perfect symmetry is your aim.
