In a small coffee shop just
west of Munich,a German engineer and an Austrian orthodontist
pondered how to position a bracket more accurately and efficiently.
They tossed a few coins on the table to pay the bill and were
struck with an idea. Each time they centered a small coin on
top of a larger one, they did it perfectly, the first time,
every time.
Introducing the Adenta
Crown System,a new method that makes it easy to align and
position bracket
accurately, reducing the time orthodontic patients |
Congruent-designed, the Crown System is the
most practical bracket ever developed.Low profile of maximum
patient comfort. One-piece construction. Manufactured in Germany
with high precision for durability and strength.
Imagine how positioning the Crown System bracket
will save you time and money, even on those difficult cuspids.
Suddenly, small change has earned a lot more respect. |
Correct bracket placement is critical to achieving the
desired treatment results. Now there’s a new, easier
way to reduce the margin of error in setting brackets.
The Crown Bracket is a congruous design, engineered to conform
to the shape of a tooth. Generally, brackets are placed according
to the invisible middle line of the tooth's root. Instead,
with the new Crown System, each tooth's crown is utilized
to determine exact bracket position, eliminating guesswork
and allowing
the visible surface of the tooth to be used easily
and quickly for accurate alignment and positioning

The mesial and distal secants from
every tooth on each patient were measured. At right is a typical,
representative example of the data in bar graph format. This
particular graph shows the distribution of measured values
from the upper central mesial secant. The average value is
85 degrees, which translates into 5 degrees of angulation. |
The edge configuration of the Crown Bracket base plate
has mesial and distal edges formed to run parallel to the
mesial and distal secants of the tooth's crown. The incisal
edge of the bracket runs parallel to the occlusal plane and
on the incisors, parallel to the occlusal edge. Therefore,
all four sides of the Crown Bracket’s base can be used
to position the bracket as it conforms to the anatomy of the
tooth.
The Crown Bracket increases accuracy in aligning and positioning brackets, virtually eliminating misalignments, and reduces the amount of time a patient is in the chair.
Our new Crown Bracket features superior one-piece construction. Its low profile is aesthetically pleasing and provides maximum patient comfort.
